Then when it came time for the Character Sprites DLC pack to be released, they showed a preview image and revealed that it's contents were just remasters of RPG Maker 2000 characters in the style of MV. So people complained about false advertising and they eventually changed the product description to reflect how many tracks were actually in the pack. However, people were immediately upset when the first pack came out, which only contained 10 songs and just over 50 sound effects - except they were in two formats, ogg and m4a, but they were the exact same content. We still have no idea what the last pack will be.) Surprise! (That is literally what they said. ![]() The initial promises for the 4 packs were as follows:Ģ0 Music tracks and over 100 sound effects.Ĭharacter Sprites (Amount of sprites and what theme they would be were not specified, except that they would match with the MV default assets.) ![]() Reception to this pack has been very negative, with (currently) 0% of 11 users recommending it in the last 30 days, and only 19% of 41 users recommending it since it came out. Earlier this year, Degica, the company that publishes RPG Maker in the west, announced a Season Pass for their new product, RPG Maker MV, promising 4 packs of extra content released over the next several months.
